Booking terms

  1. If we have not provided a creche in your venue before, we will need to undertake a risk assessment before the event.
  2. A non-refundable deposit of £50 or 10% of total quoted price, whichever is greater, is required to hold the booking.
  3. The quote we provide will be based on the number and ages of children that you expect to attend. We cannot offer any reduction if fewer children than expected attend on the day. Equally, if a larger number of children than you indicated are present, we may have to place a limit on the number of places we can offer.
  4. If cancellation of a pre-booked creche occurs less than 21 days before the event, then a fee of 75% of the total cost is payable.
  5. The remaining balance must be paid within 21 days of invoice date following the event.
  6. All cheques are to made payable to Mrs E Whitmore

Behaviour Policy

  1. Any child who is continually disruptive in such a way as to prevent the other children from enjoying the facilities safely will have to be collected by their parents.
  2. Funtime Event Creche do not use any form of physical or mental punishment. Any behavioural problems are dealt with by distraction and discussion.

Equal Opportunities Policy

  1. Funtime Event Creche operates an equal opportunities policy. No child shall be excluded on the grounds of race, religion, disability or class.
  2. Our team are also employed on the same principles.

Health and Safety

  1. We visit the venue beforehand and check the area where the creche will be held for safety.We obtain information about the fire procedure and check the doors, exits and windows. The room is checked for cabling and obstructive objects, and a copy of the Health and Safety Report is sent to yourselves for your files.
  2. On the day electric sockets are covered and hazardous objects are moved out of the way.
  3. Every child must have a registration form completed before the parent/guardian leaves so that we have all relevant details about the child, for example any special needs or allergies.
  4. All of our equipment is checked regularly and conforms to British Standards regulations.
  5. Every creche we provide will be staffed by at least one worker with current certificates in paediatric first aid. We always carry a first aid kit.

Food and Drink

  1. Any food or drink is provided by the venue and is the responsibility of the parents/host to check the standard of the food and the kitchen.

Child Protection

  1. All team members have a current, up to date, enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check.
  2. We do not allow any other adults into the creche apart from the parents/guardians or hosts.
  3. Children attending the creche are to be signed in and out by the nominated person on the child's registration form. Under no circumstances will the child be allowed to leave with anyone else.
